Event Details & Registration

The ELSA National Council Meeting is an annual, 3-day event that brings members of ELSA together across the UK. Its an event that is filled with discussion, skill-building workshops, and networking, all aimed at advancing the mission of ELSA and empowering its members.

This year, ELSA NCM will take place in Newcastle from Friday 22nd November to Sunday 24th November 2024. During the NCM, members get the opportunity to vote on proposals, discuss ELSA´s contribution and empower its members.

SCHEDUELE

14:00 – 17:00: Registration and opening Plenary 

20:00 – 23:00 – Group Dinner: Black tie dinner, featuring a 3-course meal (including vegan and vegetarian options), featuring complimentary drinks as you connect with fellow ELSA members.  

23:00 – late – Social event at Koda by Grey´s club: The night continues at Koda´s, offering 5 unique rooms, each with a different music theme.  

11:00 – 16:00 – Workshops: These include a variety of skill-building workshops, designed to enhance your knowledge:

  • BEE (Board Management, External Relations and Expansion related).  
  • IM (Internal Management related) 
  • FM (Financial Management related).  
  • MKT (Marketing related).  
  • AA (Academic Activities and Competitions related).  
  • HR (Human Rights related).  
  • PD (Professional Development related).  
  • S&C (Seminar and Conference related).  

19:00 – 23:00 – Theme Pub Crawl: A lively night of team tasks and socialising around Newcastle, a great way to bond with fellow ELSA members while exploring the local nightlife.  

10:00 – 15:00: Closing Plenary

Please note there will be additional costs for accommodation. Prices vary depending on students’ choices. This flexibility allows attendees to find options that suits their budget and preferences.
