Commoot, now in its 6th edition, is a prestigious Commercial Law Moot Court Competition focussing on areas such as competition, intellectual property, and private equity. This year, the focus will be contract with digital marketing, challenging participants to tackle emerging legal issues.

The competition features a 2-tiers: written submission, followed by oral rounds, of which 16 teams will be chosen (March 2025). Commoot offers an incredible opportunity to represent the University of Kent, which won last year. This is the perfect chance to refine advocacy and mooting skills, explore commercial law, and network with peers and professionals across Europe. Beyond the competition, participants will greatly benefit from personal and professional development, gaining invaluable experience. International Registration
Opens: 5 January 2025
Closes: 2 February 2025 (23:59 CEST)

The international round will take place in the UK. Specific details about the location will be announced soon.

COSTS

£10 per team registration for Tier 1 (Written Submission).

Please note that the Tier 1 registration fee will be covered. However, all other costs associated with the competition, including expenses for the oral rounds and transportation, must be covered by participants.
